World Vision
World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Inspired by their Christian values, they are dedicated to working with the world’s most vulnerable people. They serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.
Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs (HEA), Transformational Development, and Policy and Advocacy are World Vision’s three Lines of Ministry. In responding to humanitarian emergencies, World Vision seeks to protect vulnerable people, especially children, provide emergency relief such as food, water, shelter, medicine and clothing, and preparedness for future disasters.
World Vision recently reflected on their involvement in the ECB Project with series of learning papers entitled "Adventures in Partnering".
World Vision is the lead agency for the Horn of Africa consortium. Wynn Flaten, Agency Manager, works together with Massimo Altimari, based in Nairobi, to develop this complex four country consortium.

I am a "true believer" in what we are trying to achieve. I think true belief comes when we experience that partnering results in a better, more effective person or organization, and it does the same for those I’m involved with. Given the chance, would I do it again? Absolutely! Wynn Flaten, April 2011
