Indonesia has over 500 volcanoes and is vulnerable to earthquakes, tsunamis and flooding. Bangladesh suffers frequently from major cyclones and flooding. The events may differ, but the operational issues around responding to frequent sudden natural disasters are similar. The ECB field level consortia in both countries are working together to develop common protocols that help them prepare for and respond to the regular disasters that they face.

“ECB: Adventures in Partnering” is a series of 14 discussion papers and case studies that represent the views and experience of more than 30 World Vision field staff, technical specialists and managers who are involved in the ECB Project.
