The five consortia are the key pilot countries where we anticipate our work will have the greatest impact. We will spread far beyond these five countries and regions. Indeed, each consortium has been selected partly for its potential to serve as a regional hub for innovation and learning about approaches to preparedness and response capacity that work in practice.
ECBinter-active Conference Series
November 2011 – February 2012 sees the first ever series of ECBinter-active regional events, in which for the first time, we share our program and practical learning on humanitarian capacity building with the wider humanitarian sector.
Please join us at our final ECBinter-active learning conference: Dhaka, Bangladesh 28-29 February 2012. Please register your interest in attending.
You can also read conference summaries from our past events in Indonesia, Bolivia, Niger and Uganda.
Our maps show examples of how we have reached more than thirty other countries worldwide.
Cross-visits between practitioners in different consortia will help to cross-fertilise knowledge and perspectives from different contexts. And of course regular updates on activities in each consortium will be posted to their respective pages on Bangladesh, Bolivia, Indonesia, Niger and Horn of Africa's pages.
ECBinter-active will also present a forum for reflecting upon and sharing the key learning after 2.5 years of collaboration. These events will be hosted by each consortium in the final few months of 2011. Guests from neighnouring countries, regional experts and global humanitarian leaders will also be invited to share this learning experience.
Contact us for further information or to find out when we might be visiting your country or a regional event.
