Though each organisation has a unique focus and approach, all are committed to attaining the overall goal of improved performance in the humanitarian sector. To achieve this, the directors of these organisations meet regularly to ensure collaboration and coherence in their activities.

The Chairs of these initiatives also have regular meetings to share information, seek opportunities for joint activities and joint problem solving when required. These meetings complement the ones being held by the Directors of the networks, and the Chairs hope that these meetings will result in increased cooperation, respect for each other’s work and enhanced quality to our members

The Emergency Capacity Building Project (ECB) belongs to a loose grouping of organizations focused on improving quality and accountability in the humanitarian sector. Currently, the following organizations belong to this group:
