29 July 2011: Quality & Accountability critical during the Horn of Africa Crisis
The Quality & Accountability network (lead by ALNAP, Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP), People in Aid and the Sphere Project ) have disseminated a joint statement calling for program quality, accountability and effectiveness in the humanitarian response to the Horn of Africa crisis. Latest discussions include a joint training for humanitarian staff on accountability standards, tools, lessons and best practice are under consideration. Read more

ECB partners with CBHA to implement the dynamic and interactive CBHA humanitarian competencies development program in the Bolivia consortium. Read more

16 November 2010: CBHA Core Humanitarian Competency Framework
Building on the seminal work of the ECB Project in 2006-7, led by ELRHA, the Consortium of British Humanitarian Agencies (CBHA) has launched two new frameworks focusing on core competencies and leadership behaviours for humanitarian response. These frameworks will inspire a a new training curriculum that will be piloted in ECB consortia countries next year. Read more
