29 January 2013: EFSL 48-hour assessment tool now available in English, French and Spanish
The increase in rapid-onset humanitarian emergencies has put pressure on those who need to make quick, well informed and effective decisions. In response, Oxfam, with the support of the ECB Project agencies, created an Emergency Food Security and Livelihoods (EFSL) ’48-hour assessment tool’, now available in English, French and Spanish. The purpose of the tool is to obtain a quick understanding of the EFSL situation within the first few days after a rapid-onset disaster so that humanitarian staff can make timely assessments that will inform the design of EFSL response programs.
