ECB consortia prepare for simulations and CBHA learning events

    Published on 31 August 2011

The ECB Project has been working in partnership with the CBHA to support the implementation of a staff development programme that aims to develop capacity at agency, consortium and sector levels.

With the forthcoming closure of the pilot phase of the CBHA Staff Development Programme, ECB consortia are currently in the process of planning for final simulations and CBHA learning events. Simulations will take place between November - February, and it is hoped that many CBHA programme participants will get involved. These exercises will provide participants with the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge that they have gained over the past 12 months. In Niger, a start-up simulation is being planned for November - December this year to start the second round of staff development programmes, which will be funded by ECHO. CBHA learning events have been organised for the Bolivia, Horn of Africa, Bangladesh and Indonesia consortia.

If you would like to know more about the upcoming events in the ECB consortia, or about the ECB Project's partnership with the CBHA, please contact us.
