    Preparations begin for next round of ECB simulations

    The ECB Simulation Reference Group held its first telecom of 2011 this week to begin planning for the next series of CBHA (Consortium of British Humanitarian Agencies) Simulations due to take place between November 2011 and February 2012.  The group are working to improve the tools and resources available to the project based on feedback from the simulations completed 2010-early 2011.

    The Bangladesh simulation facilitation team, led by Soso Bagashvili (Save the Children), also held a further planning teleconference this week in advance of the ECB Bangladesh simulation September 14-15. This is a Gates funded simulation which will be used to test the recently drafted Bangladesh ECB Joint Response Protocols and will be supported by David Hockaday (ECB Global Field Facilitator) Michael Klosson (Save the Children, ECB Principal), Sophie Perreard (ECB Agency Manager, Save the Children) and Soso Bagashvili with support from Harun or Rashid (ECB BangladeshField Facilitator) and other in country capacity to be identified.
