NEW Funding for Practitioner's Guide to DRR & CCA
Published on 15 July 2011
The ECB DRR Advisors are delighted to announce the receipt of $100,000 to support the development of the Practitioner’s Guide to DRR & CCA from the Trustees’ Philanthropy Fund of the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund. As the Guide process started in May, and DRR field consortia workshops are being held this month, the confirmation of these funds comes in time to complement funding contributed by CRS, Save the Children and the recent ECHO grant to almost complete the budget requirements needed for the Guide. Thanks to Randy Martin, IWG Principal at Mercy Corps, for supporting this important DRR joint action and for securing a generous donor contribution.
