Consortia self-assessment survey (CSAS) goes live

Consortia self-assessment survey (CSAS) goes live

The CSAS reports from August 2010 generated some fascinating findings.

    Published on 15 July 2011

The ECB consortia self-assessment survey (CSAS) is an important opportunity for us to assess and learn about our progress so that we can adjust and focus our capacity building activities towards the achievement of our goals. The first consortia-level self-assessment was completed in August 2010, and generated some fascinating findings from our consortia in Bangladesh, Bolivia, the Horn of Africa, Indonesia and Niger.  Fifteen separate organizations participated in last year's CSAS, and the findings, available in our resource library, were fascinating.  These CSAS reports were also used in the consortia CEP Review and Revision workshops as part of the contextual analysis of capacity in each country, and as a decision-making tool in their Consortia Engagement Plans (CEP) for Year 4 of the ECB Project.

This year's CSAS officially opens July 15 and will stay open until August 12.  Our Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Kwame Boate and Global Field Project Manager Dave Hockaday will be facilitating the process by liaising with the consortium member agencies, and socialising the survey and guidelines.  Survey Monkey is used to capture and manage data from the self-assessment.

The CSAS results from August 2010 are freely available for download.
