Published on 19 June 2012
Designed to support learning on accountability towards people and communities affected by disasters, a new version of the Good Enough Guide Training of Trainers (ToT) module is now available to review and download on the ECB Project website. The original version of the training of trainers guide first launched in 2007; the updated 2012 training module includes contributions from the ECB Project Accountability and Impact Measurement (AIM) Standing Team, Accountability Advisors, ECB Bangladesh consortium and sector partners including ALNAP and Sphere.
This interactive and participatory training emphasizes the ‘Good Enough’ principle and consists of five modules:
- Introductory activities, training objectives and “ice-breakers”
- The key accountability concepts in the Guide
- The five steps of Accountability and Impact Measurement
- The tools available for staff to use from the Guide
- Making Accountability Happen – how to consider making program changes
Each module incorporates several highly adaptable sessions which introduce the concepts and five key steps of accountability as well as the tools and techniques required to put them into practice.
These will be available in French and Spanish soon, contact us for further information.
