Horn of Africa consortium plans Accountability workshop
Published on 22 December 2011
The ECB Project Horn of Africa consortium is organizing an Accountability and Impact Measurement (AIM) workshop for the 17th of January 2012, in collaboration with the Interagency Working Group for Emergency Preparedness and Response (IAWG).
The workshop will be an opportunity for the ECB Project to discuss the results of the Agency Self-Assessment Survey (ASAS) and use it to inform the rest of the agenda items, the aim of which is to create benchmarks for accountability in the region and a roadmap for future interventions.
It will also be an opportunity to inform the work plan of the JSI (Joint Standard Initiatives) team regarding the IAWG engagement in strengthening downward accountability in the current response to the Horn of Africa crisis and in the humanitarian sector as a whole.
