CBHA learning events completed in all participating consortia

    Published on 22 December 2011

All four participating consortia, Bangladesh, Horn of Africa, Indonesia and Bolivia, have now completed their one day Consortium of British Humanitarian Agencies (CBHA) learning events.

The learning events were designed to offer a final opportunity for CBHA participants to gather and share reflections on the course and their personal learning over the duration of the past few months and to celebrate their hard work.

It was also a chance to socialize the forthcoming ENHAnce program (Expanding National Humanitarian Ability) and solicit facilitators and participants.

The learning events have all been very positive, with an overwhelming majority of CBHA participants expressing the value of the programme and offering suggestions for improvement. These suggestions, including closer and stronger buy-in from line managers, are being taken on board for the development of the ENHAnce project.

The final consortium-related activity under the CBHA programme will be simulations in Bangladesh, Bolivia and Indonesia between now and February 2012, with the Horn of Africa already completed.
