CBHA and National Humanitarian Staff Development Project: evaluation meeting and upcoming final report

    Published on 24 October 2011

Stakeholders met on Thursday 20th October to discuss the findings to date of the project assessment of the pilot CBHA humanitarian staff development project that will conclude with learning events and simulations later this year and early next. The evaluation takes into account the largely successful implementation of the core skills and management and leadership skills development learning programmes of which ECB is the implementing partner. The assessment includes trips to consortia countries in order to undertake workplace visits of selected programme participants following telephone interviews with a large number of the participants and other key stakeholders. The assessment examines the project’s impact - the learning process and application of learning, level of engagement and which includes the selection of participants. Learning from this pilot will assist with the development of the ENHAnce project which is being rolled out by Oxfam.
