    Published on 19 October 2011

The ECB Project is pleased to announce the appointment of Zahairou Mamane Sani to the post of ECB Field Facilitator in Niamey, Niger. Zahairou has worker with CARE in Niger since 2002 as the sub office administrator. Prior to CARE, Zahairou was a civil servant and worked for the Ministry of Interior in Niger. Zahairou has vocational training in administration and started in post with ECB from 1st October.

We also welcome Elizabeth Myendo as the new ECB Project Officer for the Horn of Africa consortium, who started in her new post on 10th October. Elizabeth previously worked for Trocaire as the Regional Humanitarian Project officer, with a main focus in building partner organisations’ capacity through training in humanitarian standards, principles and accountability tools, and has also managed and implemented emergency projects in Kenya, Sudan and Ethiopia. Elizabeth will be helping Massimo Nicoletti Altimari, the ECB Field Facilitator for the Horn of Africa consortium, to lead the consortium in the next couple of years and will be getting involved in exciting new ECB initiatives such as the upcoming CBHA simulations and ECB Interactive events.
