ECB/ACAPS hold needs assessment training in Horn of Africa consortium
Published on 19 October 2011
We are pleased to inform the ECB community that the first round of training sessions concerning "Data collection for Needs assessment" have been completed in Somalia. The trainings were designed for Somali field staff working in South Central Somalia in areas where international staff have no access. Fifty people have been trained out of 110 applications received. The number of applications received and the success of these first two trainings have convinced ECB and ACAPS to organize another two to three sessions of the same training to accommodate all the requests. Many thanks are due to the two trainers involved, Hisham Khogali and Ali Ahmed Ali.
Please contact us for more information on how heeds assessment training is contributing to the work of the ECB Project, in the Horn of Africa and elsewhere.
