Latest Secondary Data Review for the Horn of Africa Crisis

Training and simulations are the best ways to learn proper emergency techniques and test how well we understand them without risking anybody’s well-being or life. The ECB Project does a great service to the humanitarian community, and its beneficiaries, by putting these aspects of staff capacity building at the forefront of agencies’ priorities.

Humanitarian organizations no longer have the luxury, if indeed they ever did, of doing everything solo. Donors increasingly demand, and rightfully so, a cooperative approach, and value for their contributions. Projects like ECB can promote this through building trust, standards and a joint approach to common issues we all face, like staff development, disaster risk reduction and accountability. In the end, it’s all about maximising our impact on the lives of others.
