This form requests your name, organization’s name, job title, country of work and email address. You can also add your phone number, a message and decide if you would like the ECB Project e-newsletter.

Downloads

This form requires you to enter what area you work in, your primary purpose of use on the website and the primary country in which you use the ECB Project tools.

You can also decide if you would like the ECB Project e-newsletter. If so, you are required to enter your name, organisation, job title, email address and country of work. You can also specify a contact number.

Once submitted, you will open the download of your choice. This information is stored by the ECB Project and is not shared or sold to any third parties. It is only used for the purposes of contacting you with ECB Project specific information (if you have given contact details) and to improve our website and resources.

ECB Project e-newsletter: software

We use e-mail newsletter software to send our e-newsletter update for users who have signed up via the website (see below) or from our ECB contact mailing list. The e-mail software makes use of ‘open’ tracking and ‘click’ tracking. This will track how many recipients did/did not open the email and the links that were clicked within the e-mail.

We use this information to understand the success of our e-newsletter. The statistics are for monitoring our progress only, and they are not used or shared for any other purpose.

ECB Project e-newsletter: subscription

This form can be found on most pages and will store your email address in a database on the website. This information is used for sending our ECB newsletter (see above) and to customize the website according to user interests.

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for ECB Project research purposes.

Our use of Cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Add This Buttons

The “Add This” button provides social media sharing through a range of social networks. The Add This widget consists of a core group of session’s cookies for bookmarking and a whole other group of third party cookies. The third party cookies are generally used for target advertising by Add This and appear after a few page loads where the Add This widget appeared.
