ECB Project NGOs

The ECB Project is a formal partnership agreed between six international NGOs, including CARE (lead agency), Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Mercy Corps, Oxfam, Save the Children, and World Vision.

The Principals for humanitarian response in each of these agencies gathered in 2004 to create a pilot project phase I which included trials in Information Communications Technology funded by Microsoft.

Now in the midst of Phase II (2008-2013), the project continues to build staff capacity across five field consortia, and to strive to develop new strategies for staff training and development within their entire network of country programs.
