ECB raised the profile of DRR within CARE. CARE programmers have made considerable progress in adopting a DRR 'lens.' This means they increasingly consider the potential hazards and the existing and future vulnerability patterns of the targeted communities before planning any interventions. This is a very interesting and important shift in thinking, which translates itself in many DRR relevant activities all across the CARE community."
