Oxfam

Oxfam logoOxfam is a leading international NGO that works with partners around the world to find lasting solutions to poverty and injustice. Together with individuals and local groups in more than 90 countries, Oxfam saves lives, helps people overcome poverty, and fights for social justice.

Both Oxfam GB and Oxfam America are mainstreaming learning from the ECB Project by integrating ECB strategies into their core work. ECB Principal Graham Mackay has been a champion for ECB together with recently appointed Agency Manager Catherine Gould who supports ECB's fundraising efforts and Oxfam's role as lead agency in Bolivia.

Oxfam leads the "Consortium of Humanitarian Agencies in Bolivia" through which nine international NGOs work together on joint capacity building initiatives, joint emergency preparedness and response and joint coordination with the wider sector (ACH, CARE, Christian Aid, CRS, HelpAge, Oxfam, Plan International, Save the Children, and World Vision)

Representatives from Oxfam field offices also actively participate in the collaborative work of all five of the ECB consortia in Bangladesh, Horn of Africa, Indonesia and Niger.

At the global level, Oxfam's Advisers work collaboratively with those from the other five ECB agencies, including a program to develop the Good Enough Guide to Impact Measurement.
